It's been a busy year for me after a couple of years with no changes. I'm all finished now and will probably stick with what I have for several more years.

(Unless a new DAC/2.1 pre comes to market or I spot a pair of DM10's going cheap secondhand).

Not much change for me this year as other priorities sapped my money. Out: Mission 794. In: EB Acoustics EB2 Though in other news, kind-of ‘in’ are a pair of Sennheiser i300 IEMs. I bought them blind (or should that be unheard) in Spring for my iPhone 5S, on the strength of existing online reviews. They’re rubbish. All boom and fizz with a non-existent midrange, which robs music of any texture and presence. £50 down the drain as they aren’t appreciably better than the pair of generic unbranded ‘iPhone compatible’ IEMs I was using beforehand, which cost £12 from Wilkinsons. And especially disappointing because I have a 30 year love affair with numerous Senny cans costing anything from £20 to £300 and I have never before felt I bought a lemon.
