Depends on the branches. Most are franchised. The Epsom branch doesn't have many deals, if any.

Did buy the Leema from the Brighton branch as a clearance item, hence the cut in price.

My store is a franchise too, but if I see a deal on their online store I just walk in and they order it for me, job done 👍

It really helps to talk to real people that are there willing to the find deals for you and although I feel there's a little pressure to buy something, I can say no, but once your in there with the toys I couldn't help my self. 🤣

Agreed 👍 I only tend to go in there when there's something in particular I want otherwise it's far too tempting 🙂
When I collected my headphones I said I might be back for a hp amp next year... he tried to sell me a Naim Uniti Atom! I'm interested in a hp amp but not that interested 😆

I tried to strip it back to essentials, so no DAC, just PC to amp. I mean a DAC should improve things but its just more stuff in the chain. That's the thinking.

No chance for me at the mo. We've had a carpet revamp but other things need to be sorted, such as the darn cables.

That was my reason for a deep cab (IKEA 'Pax' wardrobe 🙂) to sort the cables - by keeping them out of sight (and the worst of the dust).

Yup, already dismantled the Denon tuner. So perhaps a Dac will fill that space in the not too distant future.
