I can understand that, the TDA1305 is an addictive sounding chip. Take a look around the second-hand market and see if you can pick up a Dacmagic 2.

And while I'm on the subject, my regret would have been getting rid of a Marantz PM45 (35th Anniversary Series). For a budget amp in the 80's it was a really neutral piece of kit. Luckily, I'm happy with my current amp.

Sold the lot last year as I needed the space along with approx 1000 vinyl albums. I bought the logic turntable back in 1985 and used it nearly every day upto last year and sounded absolutally Magnificant..... Ah well never mind....
