I need to find a floor standing speaker that can be positioned close to a wall and one in a corner. Any ideas?

Hi guys, I'm after a pair of floor standing speakers to be positioned either side of my tv. Problem is the left hand speaker will be in a corner (maximum 20-30cm from the corner), and the right hand close to a wall. My budget is £650, room size 5m x 3.6m

Any idea's?

I was intially looking at Q Acoustic's 2050i, Monitor Audio BX5 and BX6's

Of your suggestionsI would rule out the Q Acoustics in favour of the Monitor Audio BX 5 or 6's as they are front ported, so should have less of a base control problem near the walls.

As always I would advise an audition before puchase. Try having a listen to some of the following with your patnering kit (not stated), Dali Zensor 5 & 7's, Kef iQ70 or Mordaunt Short Mezzo 6, possibly the B&W 684's if you can afford the extra £50.

By the way your title is so long in the main header, replys have to edit it to reduce the character count to 64 or less, possibly why you have so few answers.
