Well you loved your 980... And if you've made a profit and the 950 was cheaper, then good result.. Get it calibrated and you'll love it more, a good investment if you keep it*i-m_so_happy*

Yep, I tried my best with Panasonic TVs but they are just not for me. I love LG's though and am much happier now and I got some more money in my pocket.

You dont like a perfect picture obviously to sell the Panny - you like a shat picture full of errors over saturated colour contrast and crushed details in the black and white. No point owning a connosuiers TV with that mindset.

Might as well have a cheap set - if your not appreciating what you have paid for, no point owning

LG's are still rated the second best though. That's good enough for me.

How much did you sell your Panasonic for, and how much did the LG cost?
I am not going into my finances online again. I did okay though. *wink*

That is for the tv they had there. In the old days of limited controls posted settings made sense - like the LX5090 settings from bumptious.

With the level of controls available now there is no way 2 would be identical and no way manufacturing would be tight enough for them to be the same

I don't mind if it's not perfect, I will check it out though and see what I think.

That will tide you over until you get the next one in a few weeks when the G series is out.

You must notice the differences betweens all of them is not that big and that keep changing them is pretty pointless.

Apart from being bigger that OLED wont have been that much better than the VT you had a few years ago.

I honestly dont know how you can be motivated to pack that all back up, then un pack another one - the pack it back up again, then unpack it again. in and out of the house - all on your mums new carpet - she must love you.

You do know its actually easier go to work than keep trading 65" 30kg lumps of glass to make a few bob
