Humax Foxsat HDR vs Humax Foxsat HD

For those Like me who have the original Foxsat HD box , apart from the added bonus of being able to record programmes to the hard disk, does the HDR produce better SD and HD pictures than the HD box ?

In short, yes - the Freesat tuner seems superior (in our tests it outgunned both the original Foxsat HD box and the Freesat tuners in Panasonic '81 sets). It's not night-and-day difference, but it is better....
