How would a Roksan Caspian Pre Amp go with a Quad 909 Power Amp

Hi

Just wanted to get some opinions on what would be a good pre amp to use in the system listed below.

Currently im using an Arcam A70 Integrated Amp, as the pre amp. I feel this is a weakpoint. I have been looking at a Roksan Caspian Pre Amp...

1) Interested to hear about component matching. I understand the fundamentals of Speaker vs Amp matching, with Impedance etc. Im stuck however when people talk about matching other components, e.g how is impedance of inputs etc.

2) How would the Roksan Caspian Pre Amp match sonically with Quad 909 Power Amp, e.g would it add to much bass,etc.

I use one of these and it's excellent. At the going rate for a used one you can suck it and see.
