Hi I am thinking of purchasing a behringer reference a500 for £140, and need a way of controlling the volume, as the behringer's distortion rises reapidly when moved off full volume.
I could just use my laptop, however if the jack is pulled out i can see the speakers (valdus 500)'s blowing, what is a line level control, and how do i connect it and can someone suggest one?, failing that whats the cheapest pre amp in existence?
