hello everyone!

long story short im a dj and i need suitable speakers for mixing!

Ive currently just sold my jamo d 365's for a set of somthing less crap!

my budget is 250 quid!!

i have been looking at Wharfdale diamond 9.1's with a denon amp for 279 pound!

and a set of event 20/20 studio monitors with a krk ns10 amp! for 250 pound!

could anyone please point me in the direction in what to buy!! or make any suggestions?

the type of music i mix is drum n bass / jungle if that is relavent to what speakers to buy!

any help would be much appreiciated! thanks!

It's been a bit quiet on here recently.

What amp and turntable are you using? Are you looking at floorstanding or standmount or bookshelf speakers?

im using 2 techcnis mk2 1210's!

and bookshelf would be prefered!

and atm i just have a standard old cd player im using to power speakers!

but the denon dm38 amp im thinking with wharfdales ?

im pretty new to all this!!

By "DJ" and "mixing" do you mean for parties and the like? If so you're going to need something with a bit more welly than that.

They can take a fair amount of ware as well. good luck

Not that i'm in anyway an expert here but in your positon and if was was into DJing i would do everything i could to get a pair of Pioneer SDJ05 at £499

If that was not possible straight away i would look at starting with a pair of Numark npm5 £80-£99

and no its more for bedroom use, something i can use as a home stereo system aswell!

the krk rp5 are a good suggestion, or the Behringer truth 3030a are also worth considering. but active stdio monitors are the way to go for mixing

but for the quality and the price is there any thing better suited than this package ?
