Nagaoka 102 antistatic inner sleeves and a Hunt EDA carbon fibre brush have always (mostly) eliminated it for me.

If they're no longer about, you can almost certainly get equivalents.

Yeah I was going to do that (I have one of those wee electronic scales). I might end up not using the acrylic platter - I’m kinda afraid it will damage my records. Really just want to eliminate static!

If you have a centrally heated room e.g.radiators, then some well watered pot plants, or a misting spray will bump up the humidity. That is usually a good start.

My listening room is below 39% humidity today, but I’ve not played any records as went out to a live recital this evening.
