Hi everyone. I bought the Cyrus i9-XR today after a really impressive demo in the store.
I have it home and am trying to set up. The cables have come with banana plugs on the end - this was set up by the shop for me to make things idiot proof at my request.
When I look to plug them in to the back of the amp I note there seem to be little tiny plastic covers on the pins in the middle of the sockets on the back of the amp. I managed to push the plugs on, but one on try the little plastic bit came off (I still have it).
Now I’m wondering if I should have somehow taken these tiny plastic bits off beforehand, or are they supposed to stay on?
Thanks in advance.
Edit: I’ve tried to add an image but it won’t let me. These aren’t the normal circular plastic covers. They’re tiny little plastic bits right on the end of the pin in the middle of the socket. Maybe 1-2mm in diameter.
Edit: managed to add a photo
