Help? Please..

First I would like to say Hi, as this is my first ever post here..

I would like to purchase a dvd with hdd but cannot decide between the,

Panasonic DMR-EX78 or the Sony RDR-HXD970.

The dilemma I have is that I live in Weymouth and wouldn't make full use of the Panasonic's spec (One tuner that is Digital) until May next year.

On the other hand the Sony as duel tuners Digital and analogue, but again the analogue will eventually become redundant.

I am going to meanwhile look into recieving digital prior to May 08 by tuning into a alterative mast.. thanks.

Looks like this one got missed - personally, I'd for the Sony. It's a WHF award winner and, from what I can see, it's generally available cheaper than the Panasonic. Don't worry about the analogue tuner becoming redundant eventually - virtually everyone has this issue!
