Hello,

I plan to install Hitachi HA-5300 amplifier (vintage one). You can use it as integrated or separetly as front and power amps.

I plan to use both configurations:

- as power amp for my video receiver

- as integrated amp for my stereo music

But there is one "but": you need physicaly change cables each time: plug in preins or plugin the jumpers. I would like to ask if there is some comfortable wiring solution with some box and selectos that I could simple switch from one possition to another from the face of the system?

Thank you.

A simple 2-way phono switch will do the job. Pre-outs from the AV amp on one input & pre-outs from the integrated on the other. Then connect the output to the power-amp phonos.

Google should throw up plenty of options at all price points but here's an example of a 3-way.
