help needed £1500 to £2000 Plasma which one

Hi All,

I have between £1500 to £2000 to spend on a TV for my front room. I would like at least 40 something inches but bigger would be better. I am not too much worried about the sound as i have a nice surround sytem already.

Any help and best places to get one would be great. I would like it to last if there are any new features around so i am not stuck with an old model.

Hi Dave,

I'd either buy a Pioneer Kuro today - the 42in PDP-428XD, our TV product of the year, can be had for £1500, or look to the 50in models if you could fit them in your room/budget - or hang fire for a month or so yet until we've tested some of the next-gen plasmas from Panasonic, Samsung and others.
