I am looking to upgrade my home cinema system from DVD to Blu Ray and am considering either the Pioneer BDP 51FD or the Panasonic DMP BD55. I have read the What HiFi review of the Panasonic but not seen any reviews of the Pioneer. Which would be the better player?

We haven't had the Pioneer in to test yet, so I couldn't tell you which of the two is the better Blu-ray player.

We are, however, planning to get the Pioneer in shortly and pitch it against the Panasonic and a wide range of other Blu-ray options. I'll keep you updated!
