Heed Obelisk Si mk2 v Leema Pulse

Just out of curiosity. Does anyone know how the two compare, given they are/were around the similar price point?

I think Heed are overpriced for what you get, the power supply is poor to upgrade you need to pay about £700, they do seem to have some build relibilty issues as well, I would steer well clear, if you want to upgrade I would look at some used amps, which seem to be going fairly cheap at the moment.

Why?I don't see the point, just enjoy what you have otherwise you will just end up on the never ending upgrade hifi treadmill.

No, no - said many times it would take some amp to replace the Leema, but as the Pulse is a few years old just wondered how these new kids on the block compare to the slightly more mature amps.

Thanks to this forum that you sometimes have to ask these (non-essential) questions.

I don't think amps have changed over many years. Best thing to do with hifi is buy and play it unless there is something wrong with it.

Agree - wouldn't of thought there would be much difference, if any at all. Always fascinating to get others take.
