Isn't that how culture works: discourses coalesce around objects and events? None of us can lay claim to genuinely objective opinion. Just my philosophical tuppence worth...

If one thinks that HDMI cables cant make any differance, then one must think that the reveiwers that say they do and in many differant and quite complex areas are very wrong/ignorant/mistaken.

They must think they're talking cobblers then.

Why do some still want their opinion of anything hi fi related?

But many still do.
