HDMI 1.3 source and HDMI 1.1 AV receiver

Is it possible connect HDMI 1.3 source to HDMI 1.1 receiver (Marantz SR5001) and use at least HDMI 1.1 possibilities (5.1, PCM, Dolby, DTS digital audio, DVD-Audio MLP) on receiver? Is this source forwarded simultaneously to HDMI output when receiver decodes this source or not? Is HDMI1.3 forwarded to HDMI output as 1.3 even if receiver is HDMI 1.1?

Yes that should work, and yes this source will also be forwarded via the output. Whether or not it'll be 1.3, I'm not sure - it should just be passed through, so my hunch would be yes. You'd have to check with Marantz what's actually output...
