Hi there,

A few weeks ago, my 20 months old HK AVR 255 started showing some vertical lines of pixels and a bit afterwards the whole screen turned green. Acording to the representive there was some problem with the hdmi board, and probably the DSP processor too.

Now for the weird stuff, they sent me a another AVR 255, to replace mine while it was being repared, and in 15 minutes, it turned exactly the same as my previous one!!!

Now and being offered a new 255 or maybe a 360, I'm getting a bit worried it might happen the same to the new one?

Any ideas on what might be causing this? You think it might be Harman Kardon issue, the HDMI cables, the local voltage?

Currently I'm using a 37" Phillips LCD (2008), a 60GB PS3, HDTV PVR, and for the last few months the eGreat Media Tank. As for the cables, I'v got a Profigold from the receiver to the TV, Ixos for the HDTV PVR to the receiver, Thompson Receiver/ PS3 and a generic for the eGreat to the receiver.

Many thanks in advance for all your help!
