Got my first pair of speakers (Mission 751) and I have some questions

Try removing the 'spikes' and blu-tac the stands to the floor.

Then blu-tac the speakers to the stands.

Also position the speakers closer to the rear wall.

Quality bass is not bass as we imagine it. It's tighter, the missions are pretty solid with little to no resonance of the actual speaker box - no boom.

In time you may grow to appreciate them.

Oh, and IIRC, the 751s were designed to be used facing straight forward (ie with no toe-in). However, of course that's just a 'serving suggestion', and if a different position sounds better to you, then it's the right one!

I moved the speakers as you said and it actually does sound a little nicer.
