Which kind of amp and speakers do you have in your HiFi setup?

I don’t need one of their centre speakers I can just use my B&W FPM5 if I want to because they sound pretty similar. 😎

I have been listening to one of the speakers the left one with the right B&W FPM6 because I found some cable but just for one of the new ones and they sound amazing! Perfect match for the Pioneer amp. 😀

Perfect. The B&W look really nice, should be a real improvement on the old'uns.
Just curious about the damaged box of the other speaker, was it OK when you've unpacked?

I haven’t unpacked it yet.

Judging by the photo doesn't look like box was tossed about. Both sides are intact, looks like another box rested on it awkwardly. Fingers crossed 🙂

Bluetooth appears to be broken on my Pioneer amp, but I don’t want to send it away for a repair because it might get damaged and I am loving it with my new speakers. Got the other cable and it’s amazing! Really like it.

No it’s about the same quality although I think the new speakers might be clearer and cleaner in sound, I really like them.

I have just bought a Wiim Mini. But we do keep having power cuts today (I think).

Well, my TV and amp kept randomly turning themselves off, so I thought we had power cuts today but I just checked with my dad and he said no we hadn’t. So I will have to investigate as to why the amp and TV kept turning off.

I love I can just buy floorstanding speakers now and they sound awesome and are well easy to setup, I don’t even calibrate them, still sound great. I was looking into how much they rest of the B&W 600 S3 speaker package was and it was around £4000, the same as my last package I bought 18 years ago.

But with me going just stereo it cost £1350 at Hughes for the floor standing speakers and in my opinion I get just the same performance as the £4000 speaker package. If I had known about this way of buying stuff I wouldn’t have ever bought a proper speaker package. It so cool! 😎
