Front Left & Right Speaker Placement Advice

Hi everyone i will be mounting my tv on the wall next week and just wanted to know is it best to put the front left & right speakers as far to the sides of the tv at ear hight or right next to the tv.

If it was me i would place them about two feet away from the television, imo you would need to hear the stereo seperation but not too far apart.

As I listen to music through the same system, I have the speakers roughly at the corners of an equilateral triangle in relation to the listening position. This also works much better for TV/movies than having the speakers hard up against the TV.

One major point before you wall-mount your TV - don't put it too high if you value your neck muscles! Ideally, it should be at eye level, not much above speaker height.

try to have the panel mounted so a third of the way up from the bottom is at eye level when your sat down, then if possible have the front L/R speakers at 60% from center and at ear level.

If you can achieve this or something quite near to it you will have a very good audio/visual experience from your equipment.
