Hi everyone i will be mounting my tv on the wall next week and just wanted to know is it best to put the front left & right speakers as far to the sides of the tv at ear hight or right next to the tv.

If it was me i would place them about two feet away from the television, imo you would need to hear the stereo seperation but not too far apart.

As I listen to music through the same system, I have the speakers roughly at the corners of an equilateral triangle in relation to the listening position. This also works much better for TV/movies than having the speakers hard up against the TV.

One major point before you wall-mount your TV - don't put it too high if you value your neck muscles! Ideally, it should be at eye level, not much above speaker height.

Hi Jason

try to have the panel mounted so a third of the way up from the bottom is at eye level when your sat down, then if possible have the front L/R speakers at 60% from center and at ear level.

If you can achieve this or something quite near to it you will have a very good audio/visual experience from your equipment.

hope that helps you and happy new year to you

all the best

Al
