Has anyone heard these? Look very nice for pro monitors. 150w for LF and 100w for HF each speaker! They get great feedback in pro forums. They're not cheap at roughly €1000 a piece but I could sell my current system and still have money left over such is the cost of home hifi. What source would these require? A dac with balanced output I'd imagine? Any advice appreciated.

Cannot say about Solo 6 Be but I heard "Twin 6 BE" in studio some time ago....Really good monitor speakers i.e. beryllium tweeters make really a huge difference. The sound has enourmous scale, vocal reproduction is wonderful, tight bass and dynamic sound. I am personally a fan of monitor sound as a feature in hi fi speakers. But these are proper studio monitors. Please also mind that these are made in France. French speakers like every country that builds their own
