equipment isolation pods/spikes

Im looking to source a means of isolation to put under all of my components, upon my new rack, anyone any ideas, bits and bobs on ebay, nowt thats not silly money for 4 tho....

You could try Vibrapods they're quite reasonably priced and very good, they also come in different grades depending upon the weight of the component. I got mine here

I use Stands Unique carbon fibre isolators under my equipment - which work pretty well...... also have used the RDC cones and cups in the past which are good too.....

Also using Gutwire Notepads on top of my CD and AMP - see the Gutwire website for those...!

Sorbothane feet are cheap enough, I have some under a Granite Chopping board which I use for my Turntable.

Seconded on the sorbothane. Cant see the point in spending megabucks on stillpoints etc when sorbo does just as good a job, IMOFWIW.

Hi,

After reading this thread have bought some sorbothane feet from ebay for my cd player (about 6 quid).

I take it I can just place them under the existing feet or is a tesco granite plinth required?

I will let everyone know if they make a difference (but should do. First floor flat with wood floors).

You can place them directly under the existing CD player feet if you wish.
