It's all very well posting a review of the Dynaudio DM 2/7, but it seems no one in the world is selling them.

Where did WHF get their samples from?

I'm on the verge of setting up a complete new home theatre system and they sound like a very good possibility. I moved to Blighty just recently and flogged off my Infinity SM255s and Denon AVR-3802 before leaving NZ. My partner wants me to go for smaller speakers this time. Possibilities include Dali Lektor 1, Dali Ikon 2, B&W 685 or Epos M12i, unless I can smuggle in a pair of iQ5SEs or B&W 684s for the mains ...

That did cross my mind too. It could be a challenge to audition them without committing to purchase.

We'll be keeping them on dem and in stock as soon as they're released. Just a heads up for people (because we're nice like that), they're going up on the 1st of May to £550.

If you have a fairly powerful amp, take a look at the ATC SCM7's too.

Not released yet and already going up in price ...

Further to your naim comments in another thread, I found the XS to be more refined with better treble and a slightly more solid, substantial sound. Better clarity too, enough to warrant the extra over the 5i.

Out of interest, did you ever pair the XS/CD5x with ATC's?

We then put them on the XS, and could tell straight away they were being driven much better. But they start cming into their own on the Naim pre/powers.
