DSPAX863SE or AVR-2808

bought the denon a couple of days ago but not entirely satisfied with it. sound isnt what i expected from denon. seems harsh and cold. switching menus seem to cause a long delay, as does switching source, between 10 & 20 seconds in some cases. annoying to set up and frustrating when i accidently press a button on the remote! i expect i will return the denon for a refund.

does anyone recommend the yamaha DSPAX863SE as a better choice? similar price to AVR-2808 but which one comes out on top?

Go with the Yamaha - certainly not a harsh-sounding receiver, and awesome value for money following the recent price cuts.
