Hi, I am new to this forum, so forgive me if I am writing in the wrong forum.

I recently constructed a set of simple and very cheap speaker stands, pure wood, and filled with granite chippings (instead of sand). I didn't use paint on them, instead I used pigmented oil - with very good results.

More pictures can be seen here: http://hififorfolket.dk/index.php?id=60. The description is in Danish, but the images should be able to tell the story [;)]

Just posted this to pass on the idea - and opinions and ideas for me are welcome [:)]

Well done Stensgaard, if they do the job then good stuff. You might find that they are a bit organic for some people,s taste, but well done. John
