Difference between UE46F8500 and UE46F8000

Dear All,

I notice that Currys is advertising to Samsung LED TVs, UE46F8000 and UE46F8500. looking at teh specs on teh currys Web Site they look the same. Alos looking on Samsungs UK Web Site I can find no refernece to the UE46F8500 TV. Therefore was wondering if someone can please advise on the differnece between these as there is a cost difference?

Hi, the F8500 is Samsung's high end Plasma range for this year and the F8000 is Samsung's high end LED range for this year. Hope this helps

I definately like the look of this black F8500 LED TV....mirrored on the plasma version.....now why the ???? did Samsung not give this as an option from day one....but when it saw the competition it probably realised Black was the colour to go. There is nothing worse than to spent a big wad of cash then something else crops steals the limelight not soon later. :wall:

As the Silver F8000 seem to have lose some of its aura of invinsibility:read: maybe a new chassis and fresh of paint might return confidence. I never liked the original all silver design but the new look is interesting.
