I tried watching Solomon Kane last night on my Denon DVD 2500BT Blu-ray player, the cover said it was in 1080P 24 format but the denon wouldnt let me select this option in the set-up menu, it was greyed out. Anyone else come across this problem.

Yes, it is. Superb projector; am using one at home at the moment. No problems playing Solomon Kane on mine (via Pioneer 'LX52 BD player), other than the utter rubbishness of the film,,,,

I'd suggest the OP needs a firmware upgrade - these are now avaialble direct from Denon's website.

iainl2005:It wasnt that bad, better thah Clash of the Titans.
So is trepanation, but I would not recommend it.

Clare,

Can I ask do you think the panasonic projector
handles Expanded RGB better than YBR?

What settings do you have it running on?

Iain

I think the best advice would be to avoid both!

xon501:Solomon Kane is far worse then clash of the Titans. IMOWorse than Lara Croft? Worse than Ace Ventura Pet Detective? How bad are we talking?

Makes Tomb Raider look like Raiders of the Lost Ark

James Purefoy's 'West Country' accent deserves a Razzie all of its own.....

Not as bad as Have you met the Morgans... Hugh Grant doing the worst Hugh Grant impression... film so bad even my girlfriend turned it off after 20mins... and she will watch anything.

That is a truly bad film. Watched about 5 minutes on a plane and had to switch it off, as it was so toe-curlingly naff....
