Please help - My LEAK130 amp keeps turning down the volume

Hello good people,

The volume knob is beginning to turn down by it self, and it is impossible to raise the volume from the remote control.
It seems like the mechanic driver for the volume control is somehow stuck.

Any other who has heard about this problem.

What does the supplying dealer say? They’re the ones who need to fix it!

I am not familiar with the operation of the unit, but a coupe of potential things are that it could be the remote is faulty and turning down the volume, so I would try removing the batteries and seeing if the amp still does the same thing. The other could be that if playing at high volume it’s running some form of circuit protection.

Take the batteries out the remote and see if that’s problem.

My Apple TV remote would make my volume go the other way and carry on turning the amp up. I had to hide the Apple remote till i could delete the remembered device in the menu.

Not saying it’s that but it could be.

If not ring the dealer if still under warranty

Looks like it goes in protection mode. Is it wired correct?

To restore operation, simply press the Standby button on the front panel. It is thus fully protected against gross overload, short-circuited output etc.
