Denon 2012UD Default Picture Settings

I have recently purchaced the Denon 2012UD. Has anyone else had to change the default picture settings on the player. I am finding that some blacks are not clearly visable and the picture looks a bit bright. I am also wondering if this might be due to the fact I have a Panasonic TH-37PX80 plasma which only has a contrast of 15000:1. Is the Denon pumping out the blacks at a much higher contast level?

Doesn't happen that way.

Don't go by the numbers of dynamic ratios, they're merely used as marketing gimmick. Simply readjust your TV's settings to suit the picture.
