Hi, I have been experimenting with reverse phase on my DacMagic, and actually found that some recordings sounded better that way. Most often the voice was much more precisley placed in the middle of the soundstage and the sound seemed more open overall.
However I do not understand what is actually happening technically. Is it the same as if I reverse + and - on my speakers making the membrans move inwards instead og outwards?
How can I test whether a CD is recorded with reversed phase?
