I have the Marantz CD6002 CD Player with the PM6002 AMP; also I have the B&W 685 Speakers. Yyou can tell this is my first step into the world of seperates. So my question is Should I stay with Marantz for the Tuner (ST7001) of should I look elsewhere?

If its a dedicated DAB tuner your after I can recommend the Pure DRX701 which can be picked up very cheap these days. As DAB+ will be out in a few years, making all existing tuners useless, I think it would be silly
to pay out a lot of money.

I agree with Gregory, DAB is very limited in its sound quality but you might need a decent ariel for FM.

If you're buying a DAB tuner don't pay a lot and wait for something better to come along.
Most of the "portables" have phono output so you can plug those into your system.

ps I only ever listen to Radio 4 so sound quality is not at a premium.

yes spot on jimc, get a decent aerial and away you go to much better sound quality and yes a portable with a suitable lead will go straight into your set up or you can go through your set top box with an interconnect if you have one.
