Does anyone have this combo?

If so what are you thoughts re sound and depth of bass? Also; what CDP are you using?

I'm very interested in both and have demo'd them a few times now but would be interested in other opinions?

Cheers

Any views folks?

Would be interested in hearing from those who have the NAD C355BEE amp and the 684 speakers as well

Ive heard the prevs2 and 8 power on the end of 685s. Very good but a bit forward so id advise a listen! Timing is spot on with very fast bass, if not too deep.

Hi dan, again. . .

I've heard the 8VS2 with my Arcam CD 73T and. . . .Oooh painful. . . .and RS6's. I know you've had them before. I think a great combo would be Cyrus + Arcam 192 + RS6 = heaven. Sorry not heard 684's.

Quoting you when reviewing RS6 speakers. You mentioned that the RS6's "just pipped the 684's on soundstage." Stick with what you know.

I have the Cyrus CD8se the 8vs2 and bought B&W CM7's and hated them - sounded like it was in a bucket with inconsistent bass. Some CD's sounded wonderful and most awful. I brought them back and got the Spendor A5's and now love my system with all types of music. Hope this is of some help!
