Hi Members

As the thread title says, have these bluetooth Dac's been compared for there sound to each other. If not, has any member heard the Arcam rblink, and then head the Crystal acoustics Blu-dac, what do you think?

Also, What HiFi did a write up on the Crystal acoustics bludac, but they never mentioned anything about it's sound quality, will they be doing a comparison anytime soon?

Kind regards

Livio

Does anyone have any point of view regarding either the Crystal acoustics Blu-dac, or Arcam rblink at all?

As Crystal Acoustics is the cheaper option, does this necessarily mean the DAC chip, and build are of a poorer quality, or is it that Arcam is over price purley because of Arcam's heritage?

Has the Crystal Acoustics Blu-dac been a surprise to users that have purchased the item on sound quality?

The cost difference is £99 between the two, do memembers feel that they would gain a £99 gain in sound quality, really need help please.

Regards

Well I decided to go for the Crystal Acoustics Blu-dac, and weighed up the increased cost against how much better the sound quality might be from the Arcam rblink.

I'm please I purchased the Blu-dac, it sounds really great not a million miles away from my HRT Headstreamer mobile, which is probably on a par with the Arcam rblink DAC but probably slightly better as the HRT is a wired connection.

I think i made a good choice with the Blu-dac, a reputable DAC chip maker , and a Toslink connection which is great.
