Combination of Marantz PM 8005 and NR 1608

Maybe here I will have some answers . So this is original topic:

So I have PM8005 in combination with B&W685 S2. For source I am using NA6005...but I regulary need to restart it (every two to three weeks). I found that it is not so rare problem so I dont want to try one more network player from Marantz. Since radio is something I listen a lot, I am looking for alternative (it must be from same brand, I like uniformity) so one of solutions is to combine those two; PM 8005 like power amplifier with mentioned NR1608 like source of FM radio, digital inputs etc.

So my question is is this combination comperable with PM8005/NA6005 in sonic perfomance?

Are you looking to add surround sound as well? If just streaming then why not a 1607 or one of the 150? units.
We recently added a 1608 for 5.2.2 in the sitting room. The streaming works well enough although I haven't really used it in anger due to the sh*tty surround sound speakers I'm forced to use - no ProAcs yet - grrr - and have no experience with proper streamers.

For now I will stick with stereo. Surround was not my intention. Basic idea is to have network player with better user inteface than small screen on NA6005 together with FM radio.
