Clunky Amp ?

Have had my amp, pre and cd for about 7 years now, don,t know if this is common but when i switch the amp on there is a double clunk about 5 seconds after and the same when i switch off. Can,t say i,ve noticed it before, is this something that is common. Thanks john

Not sure. Fire off an e-mail to Sugden and ask them as they'll be in the best position to answer that question, and help with a possible remedy.

My marantz does that. I believe it a safety feature, and involves a relay of some sort (giving the click).
