Hello All,
The father in law was after a cheap and easy solution to splitting the audio from the home pc, currently they are doing work on the place and he was after a simple solution to use the pc as the music source but have multiple cheap speakers dotted around the house, cable lengths are going to be around 10 metres to 25 metres like I say this is a temporary thing rather whilst they are doing the work on the house.

Any sensible suggestions welcome and no idea on budget but the cheaper the better.

Cheers
Henry

Surely a portable radio is going to be the easiest solution?!

Seriously though, you're going to need some sort of distribution amp like this to send the audio from one PC to several different sets of active speakers - probably not going to be cheap.

Or if you're outputting mono, you could use something like this to send to four different speakers, each one in a different room. I've no idea what this would sound like though - probably not good!

Cheers for that portable radio is not a viable solution with being in France and the music taste he has, the other option looks interesting so cheers for that.
