Centre Speaker....

Hi All

Looking at changing my centre speaker, see my current system here:

Its currently a Monitor Audio R45, thinking of changing it to another Monitor Audio, but which is best bet?

Spoke to Peter Tyson who i got my Monitor Audio & Amp gear from & he has a choice of R180/Bronze BRLCR or the Silver RSLCR in the matching cherry finish all at reasonable prices, but is there going to be much difference between them?

I have BR2's as the front so maybe the Bronze BRLCR centre is a great/perfect match? Or do i go for the Silver series RSLCR as its the next model 'up' to be a better speaker - but would this 'out do' the Fronts & not match sonically as the bronze range?????!!!!!?????

Always go for a centre that matches your fronts, so yes, in your case the BR centre, you could end up with an unbalanced sound otherwise.

I second that, your best bet is to stick with the range you already have, the construction will be matched to ensure the best possible front stage.

I have just gone the threw the same process myself.

Thanks for the advice people, i was guessing the Bronze matching centre would be best bet, will look into ordering it!
