Center Channel Speaker Height

The tweeters of my floor standers are about ear level. Ideally I would want the center speaker the same. But the tv will be above the center speaker. If I place the center speaker at its ideal height the tv will be too high. If I place the tv at its ideal height the center speaker will be too low. Which in your mind takes priority, and how have you compromised?
