The review in this months magazine states that each item of kit is £200 which given that I wish to use an Ipod as the source, makes the receiver unit with it's DAB radio ideal, but on line each item is listed at around £350, so where did you get your pricing from?

Unfortunately we only got the pricing half-right in this month's issue. The CD30 is £200, certainly, but the DR30 stereo receiver is £350. Be assured the DR30's four-star rating is based on the correct, £350, price - we knew how much it cost when we reviewed it, we just didn't quite get the correct information on to the page. Apologies. The pricing will be corrected in the Buying Guide as soon as possible.

We'll be looking at the Sonata DV30 DVD player in our Awards issue. It's £200. Definitely.

Thanks, Simon, even at this price how do you this this option would stand up as a system compared to say a Denon 37 DAB? (taking into account the lack of a cd player)

For my money, £300 on a Denon DM37 is better value. You'll need a decent iPod dock, of course, and speakers that'll do it some justice, but it's a fine-sounding little system - probably better balanced than the Sonata, if not quite as detailed. And it's got a CD player.
