Hi.

I ask because I don't know

Is it possible to connect azur 540a v2 to a subwoofer? ; the manual says :

Pre-Out connections
The Pre-Out sockets are for connecting to the input sockets of a power
amplifier or active subwoofer. The diagram below shows how to connect
the amplifier to an active subwoofer via the Line In inputs on the
subwoofer.

My subwoofer has :

Built-in Amplifier
Yes

Stereo (Screw Terminal)
Yes

Mono (Pin Jack)
Yes

Speaker level Input Sensitivity/Impedance (100 Hz)
2,0 V + 2,0 V / 15 k Ohm

Line level (RCA Jack) Input Sensitivity/Impedance (100 Hz)
200 mV / 50 k Ohm
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

do I need Y cable ( 2 RCA amp preouts L R ---> 1 RCA subw) or two sets of speaker cable?

thank you .

All you need is RCA to RCA and connect the pre out of the amp to the line in of the sub. Thats what I did with mine.
