Basicly my nad 545 has broken down its still under warranty but want to buy a new cd player as its the second time its broken down. I am currently using my old CA 640 v2 and listerning to Bob marley Natty dread album. I'm quite impressed with the way it sounds the mid range vocals are excellent the separation good the treble not bright but the Nad has a more powerfull (heavier bass).
What is your opinion of how the CA 650c sounds and is their much init from the 640c or has any heard both players and noticed a difference. With my Mordaunt Shorts 904i the 640 v2 sounded bright but not on my MA RS6.
Also the cds I play seem to have louder vocals, I'm actullay quite shocked as I was not expecting that I would like the way it sounds.
I am now considering getting a CA 650c.
