Budget speaker cable advice please

I won't worry about size mismatch for your length cables. All my cables are cut according to need.

Think most dealers will tailor a cable: Richer Sounds, when I purchased my old Chord Carnival cable, cut one length 1.5 mtr and the other was 3 mtrs IIRC.
