Just went to move my bins back and noticed a lot of BT vans out side so i asked the BT Guy are fitting full fibre to my amazement he said yes, i can't wait. he said about 2 months time .
I think they've given up trying to sign me up for full fibre.....I can wait.
One thing I've noticed is that when they run the cable down your wall, once they get about half way down, it is then secured to your drainpipe.
i wouldn't accept that still waiting for them to come back then i will look at what options i have other than BT full cable.By "they" you mean the installer that did your particular installation.
Whilst it's fairly common within the industry* it's certainly not standard practice.
*Usually just lazy installers, or subbies that are paid per install looking for short cuts.
It's the same at the work premises too. Seems standard.By "they" you mean the installer that did your particular installation.

Yeah, them and Vodafone put up the infrastructure funds, Vodafone are the ones that have bombarded me with 'you don't know what you're missing' messages.CityFibre wouldn't sell you broadband anyway 😉
They're a wholesale network builder/operator.
They leave tselling to their numerous retail partners
Much speed increase?!I just spoke with EE regarding the new full fibre ,they have agreed to cancel a current contract i have with them. The contract has a full year left on it at first they said no he went and spoke with a manager who said yes has long has i take out a new fibre contract .

Over the years i had a lot of speed and connection issues with Fibre from cabinet was told i would get max 25MBPS lucky if i got 12 let alone the drop outs.So i gave up with that and have been using a 4G router that has been reliable with about 50MBPS on average.Much speed increase?!
