broken pin on sub cable under the floor advice

My little lad got the other side of my sub this morning and must've put his weight on the sub lead as the cable was at a funny angle.
I tried to straighten the pin but it snapped off all my cables are all under the laminate floor so can I just chop the cable and re place the plug if so wheres the best place to get one from ?

If you have a Maplin or any other similar shop close by, you will be able to get a suitable plug. Hopefully you're handy with a soldering iron.

Will the plug on the cable pull through the hole, you could tape a new cable to the old one and pull the cable under the floor.
