Hi all,
I am just getting the room ready for the new Onkyo 808 and Monitor Audio RX Silver AV speaker system. I am not interested in Bi -wiring, but am considering Bi-amping. However, this will involve me in a little hassle with opening up floors etc as the original cables for the normal 5.1 setup are already run.
My question therefore is whether it is worth the hassle of Bi-amping an AV amp using the 'spare' 2 surround channels from the amp (zone 2) or whether there is little discernable difference. I am happy to go with the hassle if it's worth it. The room is to be used 90% for movies.
