Best small cable for surround sound speakers

Im shortly going to move into a new house and have to leave my old QED cable behind as its built into the walls. This means i now need new cable for my boston acoustics speakers. It needs to be small form as the cable to the rear speakers will run beneath the carpet.

Can anyone recommend the best speaker cable to get please.

The speakers have an 8ohm impeadance and will be connected to a sony str dn820 amp. The length of cable to the rears will be approx 18ft from amp to speaker. I do plan on upgrading the speakers and amp at the end of the year but not the cable so i need something futureproof.

You don't have to worry about "futureproofing" speaker cables. Whatever you use, will be futureproof.

Look for 79 strand cables. I've used this for my installation:

As above, i use the profigold Flat Flex Speaker cable as mine runs under the carpets too, also purchased from Maplins, does the job for my system.
