Best dac?

Just wanted to know what has the best dac denon 1930 dvd or yam 763av, at present i play cds in the denon using digital connection to the yam, just wanted to ask if i would be better connecting with analog and useing the denon dac.

Afraid not Nick. Give it a go and see which you prefer - your ears are as good as anyone else's!

I would go for the Denon but I agree with the others...

And with my experience of Yamahas I'd use its DAC, but it's a straightforward compare - the Denon will probably allow you to have both the analogue outputs and the digital playing at the same time, and swap between the two inputs on the amp...
